Residents and visitors can enjoy Seagrove Park and Powerhouse Park. These Del Mar parks are ideal grassy locations for weddings, picnics or just a walk with the dog. Catch a romantic sunset or enjoy a free concert during the summer in these parks in Del Mar.  For the little ones, there is a playground affectionately referred to as “The Tot Lot” near Powerhouse Park. The local library of Del Mar is a landmark not to be missed. Back in 2002, two local artists created a mixed-media mosaic on the wall that frames the historic building. The wall is a part of Del Mar’s history and incorporates memorabilia and treasure from years past.

The Del Mar Race Track has been a staple for decades. The summer racing season has brought crowds along with many celebrities such as Pat O’Brien, Jimmy and Marge Durante and Lucy and Desi Arnez just to name a few. Many of these people made Del Mar their home away from home and the town continues to remain a favorite of many today.

Del Mar is considered one of the most beautiful resort communities on the West Coast and it’s easy to see why when you visit. The shopping, restaurants, exclusive real estate, and gorgeous beaches make Del Mar one of the most enjoyable places to live.
